MISSION STATEMENT

Unite the medical profession of the County of Indian River, State of Florida, into one compact organization and to join with other County Medical Societies in the State of Florida to collaborate with the Florida Medical Association and through it, other state medical associations, to form the American Medical Association, in order to extend medical knowledge and to advance medical science to elevate the standards of medical education; To strive for the enactment, preservation and enforcement of just medical and public health laws; To promote friendly relations among doctors of medicine and doctors of osteopathy and to guard and foster their material interests; To enlighten and alert the public, and to merit its respect and confidence.
